You ever wish you had more heads with different expressions? Just curious.

I like the expression on Dante. Plus there's a trick that you can do when you have a smarmy face like that: Depending on which side you face the person, you can look either angry or calm and relaxed. That's why I like to have asymetrical features on the suits. However, even if I had multiple heads, I would be locked into a single expression until changing heads. I would rather have a head that's capable of multiple expressions (Between the Lions anyone?) but lacking that, you just have to work with what's there.

Sorry for the double, but out of curiosity, did you take any inspiration for this character from Father of the Pride? He reminds me some of the father from that, but obviously much trimmer.

I don't think Father of the Pride was out when I asked Jen to make the design for Dante. Initially, this was the design for Elliott - but I couldn't pull it off and Simba took the name Elliott with him, so years later I decided to have Fatkraken give the design a shot and thus Dante was born. :)
