Timolobo: Cool. :D Sorry for the bad interpretation then, I'm not a bassist so I'm doing what I can to test our new bass. :P
It was cool project, we used algarrobo wood for both the body and the neck, it's a very hard wood so the sound it's quite sharp.
We got the wood for free, so we had to buy the hardware only. We spent only $ 60 in the end (strings included).
