Flowers...everywhere...they're all around me. No more. No more flowers!
This was drawn for a New Year's postcard to send to my Japanese friends who've moved away. I'm hoping I didn't botch drawing the kimono too badly.
I was intentionally planning on writing "Happy New Year's" down the side, but my Japanese handwriting leaves a lot to be desired.
Oh, and I'm thinking I'm going to keep this bunny girl as a character. Now, to think of a good name for her...

Yeah, it's a sash. After the horror of drawing and colouring all those flowers, I didn't have the patience, or desire to draw a pattern for her obi. So I cut and pasted a random pattern. Shhh, it's a secret.
I'm glad that the colours all worked. I was getting worried that they would be too much.
