I was asked to restore a couple of plushies by
tizona, and it sounded like a fun side job, so of course I accepted!
I didn't think they would be in such bad shape, but I think I cleaned them up quite nicely.
Charizard was a challenge because he was stuffed with uh, shredded packing peanuts? Anyways, when I opened him up to restuff him, they flew EVERYWHERE and made such a mess oh god the nightmares.
So yeah! After a lot of work, the results are here! :D

It was a lot of work-- I have a little fan with razor blades on it instead of regular blades that I chopped all of the little spots off. Even after that though, there were some persistent ones that I had to remove by hand and fiddle with a ton. It was especially tricky because I didn't want to tear the fabric while working. I was successful though!
Thank you!
Thank you!
These look amazing! That Charizard looks like a completely different plush after you were done with it. xD
What do you use to clean the fabric? :0 My boyfriend has a large sleeping Pikachu plush that has a lot of wear plus was in a smoking house and I've been wanted to restore it myself. But I'm worried about damaging the fabric (it's pretty thin) or ruining the stuffing with water soaking in.
