Yeah for old ass submissions! This was sitting on my computer cause I wasn't really sure where to go on with it so I thought I'd just dump it on here and see what you thought of it. It's quite opposite to my last piece and is kind of a demo for LA Scoring Strings, the string library I primarily use.
Mostly being all sullen and sad in the key of Db, which I love playing in.
(Side Note: Sorry if I haven't been commenting on your submissions, I've actually had a hard time getting on FA as of recently but I'll be sure to look into my back catalog of submissions. I know I love comments so I should return the favor).

I'm glad you thought it was feckin' awesome x3 I thought didn't orchestrate this that well, some sections dropping off and melody wasted left wanting but I thought I got a really good reverb and "full" string chamber going here. (Side note: I'm finally going to sit and read/listen to your stuff this Friday and weekend, sorry I haven't been commenting on your awesome work when you always comment on my stuff.)
Not every song has to be a five-thousand part orchestra, you know? Sometimes it's just best to let your emotions kind of dictate the piece at the time, and it feels like that's what you let happen here.

Thank you very much for the praise. Aww yes, I listened to that famous peice again and I see what you mean. It's odd I didn't listen to this at all while composing this but it seems like I was subconsciously inspired by this peice. Something somber and full of emotion. While my peice is amateur level and Barber's was a masterpiece, I'm glad I could grasp a similar feeling :)
Yeah but nothing is new under the sun. There's gotta be some familiarity in the music you make. We HAVE to use chord progressions ad stuff to convey certain feelings and emotions or it'd be a bunch of random notes. :3
The thing that ticks me off is how some people just use a bunch of loops or parts of other musician's parts and use them as their own. At least we sit down and try to compose a new arrangment of music. XD
