A friend challenged me to draw a nightmare fuel Vanillite. I challenged myself to do it without any blood/frozen pokemon bits. I have no idea if I succeeded.
I hated Vanillite at first (“LOLWTF ITS A FUCKING ICE CREAM”). Then I found out its final stage has nice stats. Now Robin the Vanilluxe is a credit to my team. /shallow

I forget the name of the guy who designed Vanillite, but i think he also designed Golett, which I'm not wild about either.
Thanks. I drew it in Corel Painter, which is very very buggy and crashy, but I've been using it for several years and have learned to stay on its good side.

I've heard SAI is amazing for lines, but I've never gotten to try it myself. I saw that you draw toony stuff, and I would imagine SAI is great for that. For years lineart and I were not on speaking terms and I worked exclusively lineless, but I've recently begun experimenting with lines. It's still faster for me to work lineless though.
