This is my back yard. Want to come play in it, bring a helmet. I may have something for you to ride, possibly old or dangerous. But you are welcome to come and ride.
Taken 12-27-11 after I took some side roads off foothill. About 5 miles outside of Benton Ca. We were beater bike riding, I was on a 1970 Suzuki 90 2 stroke. It was a good trip.
I will post pics of the mine when I get a chance, and the ghost town. Have to get a thumper running before I can, sand and rocks you know.
This pic was lovingly pieced together by Grynn. His PS skills are just epic, and he is a really sweet guy.

Well if your ever in my neck of the woods, you are welcome to grab a bike and ride with me. Granted the less you have experience the less the bike you will ride. Don't need anyone acting like a cape in the wind off a CR 250 right? But the spot is not to hard to get to. But if you want to see it, hell just ask.
Well hell. We have fishing. (no I am not new to the area. I lived here from 95 to 01.. and just got back home) But yes there is epic fishing, and well if you love being off road like I do, you have lots of win. Before here, (IE pre 95) I was in Mendocino and before that Templeton! so I am sure you can call me a CA native. But if you come out this way, give a holler. Take you up to a few spots, and if you cant ride, a few Scooby spots in the wagons or the BRAT.
Ohhh I miss Mendocino. I lived in Albion, Ten Mile and Westport. Oh and you are 45 min from Templeton, and south. Your in SLO land!. I need to get to bed, but I used to live off Sana Rita.. way back in there. High school was Paso Robles because of how things were back in the 80's Ok yes I am older. Side note, I used to know all the dirt roads that looped off the east side of Paso Robles to Atascadero. You know the ones that hook down past Berry Hill Farm. Ok, yeah been rolling the dirt roads for a long time. Dirt is win!
