Back on September 18th, 2011, Nevermint, Fritz the fox, Tao Fox Myself and one other whose name I cant remember, Walked in an event called "The Second Wind Fund of Metro Denver". This event raised funds to help prevent teen suicide and help low income children with suicidal thoughts to get the consoling they needed to move past such thoughts and get started on a road to a better life.

This was out team photo.

We raised $290 dollars for the charity outside of our own registration fees which I believe also went to the charity. If that's the case we raised over $500 in total though our efforts.

I plan to be in this next year and would love it if more people joined us and raised out attendance from the just 5 that was there to maybe double that. Bet we can do it and we have plenty of time to plan it out.

This event left me feeling like I made a real difference.

Really...this is the kind of PR we want to be showing to the world here. Why don't more furries do things like this outside of the convention charities? Seems like such a waste if we don't!
