A strange idea I had at one point... will tweak this image later to fix little inconsistancies and unbalancings. For some reason, only in my art slumps can I draw my better weapon-looking stuff.

I'm planning on doing a series of hinge weapons, this being the first... I'm thinking of drawing the axe up next, as soon as I figure out how it'll work. I'll be putting up the story behind a few of them as well...

jist of it is, there was a line of weapons called hine blades, which were for little more than show. A slightly crazed enchanter decided he wanted his particular collection to work, so he inscribed a series of glyphs and enchantments on his weapons... so that they'd actually work as weapons. But in doing so, he made the weapons become among the caliber of the legendary blades Masamune and Excalibur. The reason no one seems to care is because there were so many others made that didn't work as weapons.

This particular sword is NOT one of the enchanted ones... I can't come up with any glyphs that would both look cool AND have any meaning to each one...

if anyone would care to aide in the endeavor, or wish to help me with the story, it would be much appreciated.
