It must have been a truly amazing feeling... I've only tried to ride saddleless, not bridleless, but I must admit it wasn't similar to anything I've tried before. Those strong muscles moving right below you, and the warmth of a horse's body ^^ Saddle is just a limitation, both for a mount and for a rider.

Yes it was. You really need to trust your horse and the other way around for this to work though. The best part is that when a horse shifts into high gear, you get the feeling you're floating, because the only thing that moves are the legs of the horse. Unforgettable experience.
