I'm usually not a fan of the double-connector Byzantine style, but it looks good when done tight like those silver connectors. The bigger black and blue ones though... have you considered looping them through each other to make little "florets?" Like, the way the mobius pendants are done with the rings all through each other, just do that with two rings so it adds a little swirl to the look of the bracelet.

It may also be seen as a bit more feminine, as generally more detailed things seem to be. Of course, feminine could be good or bad for a girl or a boy, all depends on who's buying.
