Original Composition, Soundtrack/Symphonic Orchestra.
Not quite a christmas song, and likely my last submission this year - but I'm glad I managed to finish it nontheless. I'm not sure if it works as a standalone piece; it's pretty much a dump of emotions, of visuals, feelings and various ideas and challenges I had in mind, and somehow just had to squeeze into a track to process them.
Thank you for taking the time to listen to it.
If you'd like a .flac version of this, you can grab that straight from SoundCloud, just hit the download button.
If you're curious about how such a project looks when I work on it, here's a screenshot taken during the final mixdown where some finetunings and small adjustments are all that took place during that stage, and the final result you can listen to here.

What exactly would you like to know? VSL is a set of orchestral samples (&samplers); not the cheapest ones on the market, but rather versatile. All to be found at http://vsl.co.at
I wonder if would worth purchasing the Vienna Super Package Full. What I've learnt with instrument samples and bundles is that I get all of them sooner or later.
Oh yes, I'm into professional music composition thru computers too BTW. =3 But I thought you were using FLS, not Cubase. Any opinions on which one is better?
PS: It's funny how such softwares are so resolution demanding. I use 1 monitor on FullHD and it's not enough for FLS solely, and for you 2 monitors are barely enough too. XD

I've been using FLStudio for a long time, and switched to Cubase. Both have their advantages, but Cubase has a few features which make my life a whole lot easier. Musical notation, expression maps, time warping for MIDI data, the ability to open multiple projects simultaneously, freeze tracks, media data management, dependency-based backups and overall better compatibility with VSL (I'm afraid I have to mention that) are just a few of the top features I wouldn't want to miss anymore.
The full package is rather expensive. So, hey, if you have the money to spare, why not. I started with the Special Edition Bundle (Special Edition + Special Edition Plus, Standard + Extended) which covers 85% of the instruments they have, with the basic articulations. It's a lovely package from which you can expand and purchase the individual full libraries for what you really need. For me, those were the appassionata strings and the horns.
