Part of my artistic "rehabilitation" has been to go back to basics...I started drawing as a cartoonist, so I may as well re-learn through my cartooning. Thanks to both http://www.seventhsanctum.com and the "Mascot Generator" that birthed Quester the Ram and my son's insistence that I "draw more Sonic characters," I worked my way through several of the random-rolled characters and designed them in Mobian style: clockwise from top, we have Freefall the Squirrel ("the energetic orange-colored spelunker"...their words, not mine), Stalker the Swan ("the sinister blue-colored hunter" and, most likely, Quester's arch-nemesis), a Roboticized revamp of Techno the Ferret from way-back-when, and an original creation born of my attempts to "Mobianize" a squid (Ryan wants me to call him "Squirtz").
I still can't decide if Freefall's a boy or a girl...I mean, Team Sonic always dresses their females fully, so, by attire, Freefall's a guy, but I just feel it should be female anyway.
