Well, folks, it's Christmas Eve here...

So, why a wolf photo? Well, funny thing… Saint Nicholas… you know, Jolly ol’ Saint Nick? He happens to be one of the patron saints of wolves. In fact, it’s said that wolves spend the night of Saint Nicholas in meditation, and won’t hurt anyone even if provoked.

Curiously enough, in places such as Denmark and Norway, long ago, wolf spirits were sometimes seen as protective things, and sometimes were said to reward those who had been faithful to them throughout the year… sound familiar?

Maybe there is something to Santa ‘Claws’ ;D
