Hello there,
I always wanted to show you my gorgeous silver persian cat Alex, which in our family is also called the little samurai, which in it self is a little bit funny, as he is as big as a small dog. But even if he looks quiet fat I can asure you he is a really lean character which has only fluffy fur. Which he has due to the fact, that isn't a house cat as he likes his freedom and can go into our garden and the neighbourhood as he wishes, as long as he is home till nightfall.
As you might ask, why we call him a samurai. That's because he is such a dominant cat, that he whatches over our garden and the surrounding areal and fights with whatever tries to invade his territory. In his abitous fight to secure it, he even attacks Weasels and martens which normaly are superior to a cat. After those fights he allways was heavily wounded and nearly dead, but after recovering he always went on doing it again. We would really like to keep him indoor, but we know how much he loves his freedom and that he would die if he would be kept indoor.
Due to this fact, that even if he is now 17-years old and still hasn't cooled down we are sure he will once die during a fight with a dog or any other superior animal while biting him in the neck, whichwould also kill his enemy, but you could see this as dying upright without fear, which would be like a true samurai.
Sadly we had to aputate his right hind leg which had an infection after one of his fights, from which he had two broken teeth in his ankle. He might now only have 3 feet, but even now he is still protecting his domain and will live on to get us grey hair.
