So yeah, I've been following the SOPA bill pretty closely (Windows phone and third shift are good for that) and last night I heard about this.

The website hosting service godaddy.com has sided with the Stop Online Piracy Bill. Why a hosting service would side with something that, if misused, could shut them down completely I do not know... but they have been catching one boatload of hell for it.
Reddit.com has already switched hosting servers, the owner of Icanhazcheezburger has threatened to do likewise unless Godaddy changes it's stance. Those two make up 1500 pages by themselves... and Wikipedia, a staunch opponent of SOPA, is also hosted by Godaddy. They haven't said what they'll do yet but given they were already considering blacking out the website in protest I doubt this is going to go over well for them.
Still, after hearing that news... well... I had to meme it. :P
UPDATE: http://www.godaddy.com/newscenter/release-view.aspx?news_item_id=378&isc=smtwsup HAH! XD
UPDATE 2: Well this explains a hell of a lot... http://nwlinux.com/godaddy-supporte.....-an-exemption/

I keep imagining the attack ads to be run by the "Anti - SOPA" people that would run next year if SOPA is passed, and "This Senator killed Wikipedia" is a pretty damn good one.
