Here's a small city on the Inquisi home planet, Inquisor.

Inquisor is a rather unique planet, in that it looks like a desert planet but in fact is as lush as any other Goldilocks-Zone planet. The reason it looks like a desert is that most of the planet's water is a little ways under the crust. In its attempts to force itself towards the surface, the planet's oceans and lakes are basically giant quicksand pits.

The dark sand over on the left of the picture is pretty much deadly quicksand, if you were to fall overboard there, you'd be screwed unless a rescue craft got there in time. The ground between quicksand and dry land is pretty much a thick mudflat, and although it's not entirely deadly, it's still really inconvenient if you happen to get stuck in it. This doesn't dissuade the Inquisi from playing about in it, though - they know how to get out if they get stuck. Itanta and other species living on the planet generally stick with an Inquisor native when going out on the beaches, that way if they get stuck in the mud, they'll have someone to help them out.

The buildings are typically made with reinforced sandstone, and most glass is tinted amber, for protection from the sun. Solar panels are also a common sight on Inquisi buildings, as a means of getting power from the sun.

Also visible here is the Inquisi datamoon (Sorry, I suck at drawing moons so it looks like a TRON ripoff planet or something XD), which is pretty much a cross between arctic moon and moon-sized industrial district.
