This is a christmas present for my parents-in-law. It's their dog "Emma" painted on canvas with high quality acrylic colours. It's my second try to paint something with acrylics on canvas and I already see the difference between cheap and expensive colours (my first canvas painting was done with really cheap acrylics).

Also I used a photo of Emma that I've captured myself in 2008 as a reference. She is completely black, but because of the flash photography her fur was shining bright in some areas, I tried to capture that with grey and white colours in this painting.

I'm satisfied with this, although I still can improve!
Emma is a mixed breed between Labrador and some sheepdog.
