This is a character of mine from a story I'm working on. She's a self-turned hybrid--foremost of elven lineage. She's now a garble of earth elemental (her skin is sandish, and parts of her body are almost completely mineralized), deimon (a wolf-like (in facial appearance only) tree dwelling older race; so her eyes, facial structure, leg structure, hair, and skeleton leans closer to the deimon's in appearance), and elf (her original race. She was once a brunette, but now has a mix of black and silver). Due to the magical and very inhuman nature of elementals, many of her organic functions (like digestion and excretion) no longer exist; she has no disgestive system, in her words, 'I don't eat. If I do, its broken down to its elemental properties and converted to magical energy, which I don't really need. I don't even have a digestive system outside of mouth and throat!'. She also has no mammary glands and her reproductive system is sterile (to her dismay, because she did want children. I suppose she'll have to adopt). Ephemeral tails of energy trail from her back in a manner of wings, reminiscent of the wings female deimon have, but far more diminished.

Usually she has enchantments on her that veil some of the more distinctive of her physical traits, namely her impressive height, sandy skin, leg structure, and wings, but in a world of magic, there are ways to remove such enchantments, and they do fail from time to time.

She's a researcher, archaeologist, cryptologist, linguist, and all around scholar.
