Emilie likes a country that isn't her native one, for many reasons. Is that for their philosophy, for their humor, for their food? Hard to say, but to the end the little Emilie made a whole collection about the Great Britain in her house.
As for me, I do share this passion as well. I'm quite patriotic about France, but I don't forget that our neighbors were here for us when we needed their help. And for that, they do have my eternal respect.
Whatever their weird humor they may have. ...joking =)
I can't wait 'till I can return to London next year!

Bien que n'étant ni Français ni Britannique, je suis un partisan de l'Entente cordiale ! =>

I've actually been to both England and France and while I only got to spend a handful of days in each, they're both lovely countries. Of everywhere I've been, those are the two countries I most want to see again. I'll admit I was a bit nervous of visiting France as I don't speak a word of French and when I was there it was my first visit to any country outside of the United States. But everyone I met there was so friendly and helpful, more than just about anywhere else I've been.
As to the art, I love her outfit, especially those lovely gloves she's wearing. I really like how the flag drapes and folds behind her, too. You always do such a good job with cloth and making it look natural.

Don't I wish! Two of my best friends in the world live in England, and I'd love to come back to France one day and actually spend some time there to explore its history and see what it's like today. One thing I've found in my travels is just reading about a place doesn't really tell you anything real about it. Not like being there.
Tisk Tisk. That flag's innacurate. The red slants should have far more white on the clockwise side than the anticlockwise side. :-P Bloody foreigners... Other than that, God Save The Queen!
PS: When are you going to be in London next year? Any chance of you turning up at a Londonfur meet? I think I might have missed you last time!

Marrante Emilie.
Chapeau
