I think I shall call her Issabelle... maybe. Debating on if I want to so all my backgrounds semi-abstracted, considering text and word bubbles will end up breaking it up anyway.

Nice work. The abstracted backgrounds sound like a good idea. Usually artists skip the background or do something highly detailed that doesn't make sense when covered by text boxes and the like. An abstract background would give the reader a sense of what's in the background and the abstraction would then focus entirely on the character.
