Made my first trip to BotCon with my younger brother a few years back. Saw a lot of awesome stuff (including Eric Schwartz), but I tried not to buy EVERYTHING I saw. My one notable exception was this bit of artwork. While browsing the tables, we found Alex Milne (on Deviantart: http://markerguru.deviantart.com/ ) who does a lot of work for the current Transformer comics. We talked with him for a bit while browsing his book of prints and came to find that he DID in fact accept commissions as well.

Uh, yes please? Sooo, my brother and I found an internet connection and a printer and got some reference images of my 2001 Ford Focus. We commissioned Alex to do up the Focus as a Decepticon in the style of more realistic Alternator series of toys.

The result?
Epic.
