So on Saturday night the throttle in my 73 Buick says Hey im going to stick and i slam it head on in to a rock ledge but at least we are ok and drivetrain is still good.

you i don't get it ive been driving for like 2 months every day with no problem and i replaced the spring oiled the linkage and this had to happen when my ex is in the car.

thats for sure 6000 pounds if steel is all that saved us we both nailed the windshield i went through it 27 stitches to prove it got to love those old tanks

*whistles* Them winshields'll leave a hell of a mark man. Glad you both came out relatively unscathed.Time to pull the engine & trans and find something else to cram it in.

i am already looking at a 71 gs no motor 4 speed car but the price tag is a bit high 4,000 no motor trans or interior but look at it this way i got the 73 for the 455 never really wanted to drive it so it works out ok

You should be able to pick up a decent 4-speed for 1k, a brand new performance one is like 1600, atleast in the world of T-10's. Or to just get by, you can pick up a decent TH-350 for 5-700. Have you wheeled and dealed with the guy yet on that GS? Every 100 off his asking price is 100 closer to that 4-speed.

see the prolbem is the guy knows what hes got so wheelen and dealing might not work the frame is good i checked the numbers it is a gs 4 speed not numberes matching any more because no motor a tranny but as for the 4 speed i think the bw super t10 i got from my camaro will fit but it wont the the power if the 455

What horsepower/tq numbers are you putting down in that 455. If its a stock 455 I don't think you'll exceed the tq rating on a Super T-10, but then again it also depends on which ST-10 you've got.

Not as happy as i was that she was ok i ended up with the worst of it thank god hugs back
