An oldie, but still by far one of my Favorites. This was a commission from a person who was a high bidder on one of my hippogryphs in another contest (Tricked Out Pony contest). She wanted another hippogryph, and this is what her design was.

me personally? I usually use an exacto knife and candle. But I thing customizers usually use a heat gun or boiling water.
Using Sculpy...you can, but I don't recommend it. You have to heatset it, which involves boiling, oven, or candle, and it breaks easily. I use ApoxieSculpt. Expensive stuff, but well worth it.
