This is Piston, the male I kept out of the 10 I had. I kept a total of 3 grey rat snakes - 1.2 trio (m.f)..I chose Piston here because of how..odd he is. He is PINK in this picture, but he is also brown and has lavender hues as well. He's a unique boy. I hope he keeps his pink (coming from the person who hates that color on anything but snakes/animals xD)...
My grey rats are starting to calm down. They can be bitey at times but usually it goes away after a few moments once I get them out. This guy, instead of biting, puts his head between my fingers and flattens himself out. He looks like a flat snake when he does it!
The other ones I kept would be "Battle Axe" a 2011 female grey rat snake - named for the battle axe like marking on her back, and Fusion - a darker 2011 female grey rat snake who has a strange marking on her back as well.
Battle Axe is very bright, by the way..so I got three who are all different. Fusion is the one who tends to want to bite more now from what I noticed.
But they are big chunky babies! Never refusing meals. All on f/t.
