So I realized I haven't drawn a pic of Zanny just... being her normal Star Warsy self in quite a while, at least I haven't finished anything like that. Aaand then this one kind of went off-kilter too, but I might still finish it. This is a much later in life pic for her, but she's still in pretty great shape. Gotta love those Jedi katas. =D Yeah, that's her official ambassadorial garb. It's kind of halfway between sari and harem girl. There's a reason for it, though. The power she represents was founded and is headed by a former dancing girl. =D It pays homage to their checkered past. Also, her mate likes it. The skirt and drape actually tear away if she needs extra freedom of movement. Normally the lightsaber stays hidden in the folds of the skirt.

In a sense, she's come full circle. =) She honestly would have liked to be left alone to live out her life and raise her daughter quietly, but the universe said hell no, and voila, she ended up ambassador for a league of former dancing girls, con artists, and smugglers. =D Life is nothing if not interesting.
At least being an ambassador helps to promote a more neutral sense of self for civilization, even if those she associates with are the shady types in the Republic. Regardless, it is very heartwarming that she was redeemed from the dark side, though I don't know by whom, though I have suspicions that her Padawan Perdi had a hand in her redemption. As to her daughter, I suspect that Sher is the father. If so, talk about an unholy alliance in action, the child of a Jedi and a Sith. Still, may she at least be able to have some measure of peace with her child, neither Jedi nor Sith, but simply Zannah, loving mother. :)
