Dansarnit. Not the start I was looking for. Might have to take advantage of the pre-season stat tweaking to help the offence.

Thanks Paskhowl for putting all this work into displaying that! Also, little hint, the reason Hamilton outshot you guys so bad is because their offense got a huge boost from players getting attribute bonuses by playing with the same species. So if you're looking to make trades, you might wanna look for a wolf "inemate for your star center...but you didn't hear that from me! ;p

A furry hockey simulator, and as far as I know this is the first of its kind so I'm not quite sure what you're comparing it to when you say "what kind of". In hockey, penalties are created by desperation, lack of discipline, fatigue, and an occasional bad call. There's no way to create those situations in a simulation, so if it were to include minor penalties they'd be random and arbitrary, which is stupid. I'm not going to water down the simulator I put this much work into making by tossing in penalty calls that are based on nothing.
*the big bruin gives a few celebratory helmet bonks to his goalie and teammates, then skates off the ice and lumbers down the runway, back into the locker room. He tosses his stick into the corner and sits down with huff. When asked how he feels about the win, he shrugs* It's pre-season. It's just practice, nothing to get excited about. We've got lots to work on. I'm disappointed in our defensive play, especially mine. We can't get caught up in wide open, high-scoring games like this. It puts too much pressure on our goalie and forwards.
But Beiny and Bigs had a great night. Bigs got a Hat Trick in his first FHL game. Bet no one's laughing about our draft pick now. *chuckles*
