R.I.P., Elric
This is for my rat, Elric, who passed away today. He was taken to the vet thanks to the generosity of the people watching me here on tumblr. He had many tumors in his stomach, and there was nothing they could do for him, so he had to be put to sleep. The visit, and euthanasia cost 147 dollars exactly, almost the exact amount that was donated.
Thank you for letting me give him a peaceful rest. He slept on my lap up until they had to take him, and got a little food to nibble, and was generally content before his last moments. So again, thank you so much for helping him pass on.
He was a wonderful big brother to the other 3 rats, and such a good sport about everything. I’m going to miss his orange creamcicle colors and his unique partial rex fur, and I’ll miss him chattering his teeth happily as he lazily dozed next to me on the couch.
Elric, you were a wonderful rat to have, and I’m sorry you didn’t get to live your full life.
