well....I'm not always scaled....very often just skin...very frog-like...the pigmented area have prominent speckling at edges...finally getting a little better with illustrator...boring pose/background...blah blah..

well...she's pretty much amphibious so...frog-like skin makes some sense, though when scaled, the scales are fish scales, not hard or armor-like as in many dragons...

Thanx <^-^> ...illustrator can be very frustrating...I still don't like 100% digital art as much as much as I do a scanned sketch with digital color on top...I just can't get the exact results I want, though coloring 100% digital art is much easier...oh well..

I can't make anything in illustrator...I make more abstract art I guess. ^^;

But yeah I love drawing by hand better..I do better than wacom tablet work in alot of things..but I am getting a tad better with my tablet.

thank you...I think it's the closest I've come so far to really getting this shape "right" (atleast in my crazy mind and memories)....the colors are off though...stupid laptop screen misleading me LOL...
