This is the unfortunate lass from Blowing the Contest where a crazed raccoon blew her up like a ballon until she burst. But ye need not fret! Like much of the Capn's cast she is a balloonie fur (or scalie in this case) and popping is a mild inconvenience at best.
Just slap on a bandage for a few days and she'll be right as rain.
Maybe even in a fine enough mood to seek out a little payback from her burster?
Or maybe Joyce will let bygones be bygones?
Maybe the Capn'll write about it in another tale to come. Fer now though, here she stands and waves: alive and well ifn a little dizzy from her experience.

Seemed very concerned fer the state of poor Joyce after her misadventure so Ol'Squeaks made this picture to confirm that the Capn' may be many things but he's not cold hearted. Yes he enjoys tales of inflation and awkwardness and even exploding, but he's not an intentional objectifier, he does not delight in pain and sadness, and he makes these tales to entertain, not sadden or disgust.
