This is a picture of one of D. Dan's ancestors. Specifically his great great grandfather. This picture is meant to be like an old photograph showing said ancestor while still in his youthful early 20s in age.
His ancestor, shown here, wasn't a cowboy nor a rancher. Rather he worked a smithy and ran a store. He was by no means unable to fight mind you. He was as good with a pistol as he is in making a living and he was a good business eagle. His store and smithy, along with his business savvy skills, eventually led down the years and generations into what is today the multi-trillion mega corporation that makes D. Dan and his family so epicly rich.
As a side note, the Dan family are also one of the most generous as well. ^\/^.
