Here's a closeup of an ogre's head. Tattoos are clan symbols and/or decorations for reaching adulthood and taking part in battle. Also, any ogre that marries into another clan will have both clan tattoos. As stated earlier, ogres are completely hairless, lacking eyebrows and the like.

So, you're saying I shouldn't have any bones through his nose, or lip peircings or somesuch? =P I was only planning on earrings, myself. But yes, without the tattoos they look pretty dull. I should probably think about doing some on the body as well, if not drawing them with armor.
