Well, some certain Brits maybe, but surely not all of them. And I'm certainly NOT a football-fan by any means.
But it's cool indeed. I've got it from a school trip to Englang looong time ago. My mom has also spent and worked several years in Englang in her youth.
And I'm toying with the idea of visiting the UK again...someday.

Haha you should know that in lots of places we're not polite...especially not in the capital. D:
It's a shame really, I love people from other countries!
Me and Rallow went to York yesterday and the people were sorta rude, they didn't move out of your way so if you didn't move you'd just get head butted in the face probably lol.
I'm not a football fan either but my brother and dad support Manchester United.
You should goto Confuzzled in the future. One day me and Rallow might go. :D
Are there any furry conventions in Germany or Austria? I don't know about many conventions lol.
And nope, surely I'd find it entertaining lol.

I guess that applies to the most bigger cities. People are distrustful and impolite. In the town where I live before, I was greeting about everyone I walked by on the streets, and almost everyone returned it. Now that works only in my residential neighbourhood.
I think both in Austria and in th UK it'S quite common for the youths (but not only for youths) to be football fans. The difference is just that in the UK there are actually good teams.^^ Some of my best friends are football fans, but I never was, and never will be. Still I don't mind to see a match now and then (if there's nothing better on TV :P)
I've heard about some minor conventions in Austria and Germany like, H-Con, Zillercon, Lakeside Furs. Some of which the guitarist of my band, Azrael, has visited yet. The one you should necessarily know is the Eurofurence. It's as far as I know the biggest furry con of Europe with about 1000 participants each year. I've been on the EF 16 in 2010. That was by far the biggest furmeet in my life so far. All I've been before that was a new years party near vienna with about 20 other furrys. I think sometimes small furmeets can be even more enjoyable than big cons...less stressful, more relaxed, just cosy.^^ You wouldn't possibly have the time to get decently aquainted to so many ppl.
I guess you will be entertained by the picture, but don't say I didn't warn ya^^

True true. I don't trust anyone too much lol, it's silly to be really trusting with strangers, but with Rallow and some of my friends it's okay. :3
If you tried that in England only few would return it, you'd either get horrible looks or the people returning it are either some old people, weirdos who'd like to follow you down a dark ally, genuine friendly people or just shy people who don't know what else to say. xD
I don't mind watching if I have other things to entertain me too. x3
One day I must make a quest to go there! Never met any fur but Rallow and we've known each other now for around 7 years. xD
Awww it must be nice, it sounds like lots of fun. :3
Haha, I like it, I must steal the apron for baking lol.
Mmm shrove tuesday...did you make any pancakes? It's a very british thing to do that on shrove tuesday and we all love it! :D

Big forry-cons are quite expensive. I don't think I can afford another until I find a job. I think the EF was about 400-500 € for me, all in all. It lasted 5 days, and it's packed full with events.
I can make pancakes, that's actually almost the only meals I can cook. And I like them.^^ But I'm pretty sure I never did them on shrove tuesday. It's called Faschingsdienstag here and you usually get Krapfen here throughout the whole Fasching-season.
By the way: In Austria we usually make Palatschinken, instead of pancakes. I think they are made of the same dough. They are thin and as big as the plate, then coated with jam and rolled up...hmmmm Veeery common and even more delicious! :D
