Just a sketch I did from my head. I was kind of confused as to what to put in the backround. It's a little quickly done, I don't know if it should be in my main submissions or scraps. I'm considering drawing a whole band, but I'd have to work from a photo for that. Yes, he is very metal.

Cute fox. Looks like you took a picture of a charcoal drawing. The detail always seems drained out that way. Your shading is nice^^
As for going digital The Gimp is a nice free program, Pixia is good for coloration (also free), and there's always Photoshop, but that's kinda expensive. A newer program is Paint.net, but I've spent little time with it. It's not so much the tool, but the user of the tool. Try some programs out and see what works for you. I use Gimp for most of my needs because I've spent hours playing with it.
