O Why bare you your flesh?
And dare tempt me my lust,
Crave my desire but my soul desist.
Tell me what is true love, if faith is thrown to the dust?
To burn in the blazing fire is more desirable,
Then to trample and betray my own trust.
O I will not drink the wine of yours if the sweetness is tempered,
As you know wild honey is a just fuel for this living soul,
For the freshness of dew I must patiently wait,
To truly love you and wash away this dust of lust
And dare tempt me my lust,
Crave my desire but my soul desist.
Tell me what is true love, if faith is thrown to the dust?
To burn in the blazing fire is more desirable,
Then to trample and betray my own trust.
O I will not drink the wine of yours if the sweetness is tempered,
As you know wild honey is a just fuel for this living soul,
For the freshness of dew I must patiently wait,
To truly love you and wash away this dust of lust
