Here's a recording of my school's Percussion Ensemble performing "Outbound" by Chris Crockrell, a fun little song that has a "Tape" accompaniment.
The Backing track was on a CD and was played through the theatre's really, really nice PA system. The song itself got a bit fuzzy near the end, but I think we did a pretty nice job.
Instrumentation:
Bells
Xylophone
Vibraphone
Marimba 1
Marimba 2 (Doubled on Vibes)
Timpani (Tambourine and Vibraslap)
And Loads of Auxiliary
