My seasonal pic for winter, not what I had origanoly planned but the other idea was becoming too time consuming an wouldent have been done in time considering the other work I have to do lol, So instead heres a portrait of a sparrow which ive been planning for a while an until now jus not got round to it.

A sparrow? A wren? Am I close? ^^;
Not familiar with avian taxonomy, but this bird has some very good detail. For me, I sense some level of a mistroke or something that makes me fall out of the realm of realism. I think it might be the wings. Maybe it could be some more emphasis on depth or something to flesh it out. Also, I think making realistic branches is another beast of its own, but you certainly drew it far better than I ever could.
