Yeah, I'm gonna get one of those soon, it's not a hard install, just gotta order the parts.

G3 parts are easy to get here in germany, but some of these are pretty expensive. I remember paying nearly 100 Euro for the retractable Stock of my G3

I can find some surplus parts for them cheap enough, but new HK stuff is expensive. Luckily bayonet caps and bayonets are fairly cheap. I'd love to get the wide forearm with a bipod but those are like $140 :P

I payed 20 Euro for a used Bundeswehr Bajonett. But a new forearm with bipod has the same price like at your place. Some shops even sell them for more.

I guess it's close to an A3, and I just put the mag in and sat it down. I did expect it to just tilt forward and rest on the barrel but it sat up.

If you're looking for one it's a Springfield GI, a bit hard to track down sometimes but usually decently priced. You can't have mine though :P

That PTR is fun to shoot and dead accurate, bot that and the 1911 assault my wallet though, heavy hitters always have expensive ammo XP One day I'll pick up an AK.

I think you can own a Norinco SVD, which isn't too much different. When it comes to shotguns, though, you just can't beat a good ol' SPAS-12, but the KS-23 (Which is the most powerful shotgun in the world, outside of Punt Guns), is a good choice for fucking things up.

No law really prevents you from owning an SVD, you just can't import them so the precious few in the country always go for a lot. I'd take a Type 79 too but those are hard to find too. And speaking of that big old round, I need to put a scope on my M91/30 some day. As for shotguns, the SPAS is a pain the butt, and the KS-23 can only be a pain in the shoulder. To that end I mostly just want an 870 and an Auto5 to screw around with. Maybe a SAIGA 12 just for shits and giggles.

What about LMG's?

Now we're getting into truckloads of money and reams of paperwork. But if I theoretically had the money and patience for owning such a thing I'd probably go after an HK21 or an M1918, probably make the 21 the priority though. Also, well you wouldn't really call it light but it is vaguely portable, I do want an MG3.

Personally, my favorite machine gun has always been the MG42.

The MG3 is essentially an MG42 but in 7.62Nato, the '42 for the modern age. Again though trucks loads of money, well unless you want a semi auto conversion, then just half a truckload of money and less paperwork.

True, and with that, you can convert it back to it's full-auto glory!
