This is an example for what I do most. A solar charged battery box. I used two BP 5 watt modules build a fold able frame so it fits into a backpack. The battery box contains the battery itself, a Morningstar solar charge controller, a temperature warning thing, fuse and switches. This thing produce more energy than the Makita BMR 100 needs, so it safe some for the night. All main part are full waterproof (ip67). This is important because the main idea behind this is that I can mount this on and in my kayak. So I can charge the battery over the day and in the evening when I come to the camp I can charge thing like cell phones, mp3 players, cameras and GPS. The CD is just for size reference. Oh and there is my cool ashtray that I made from a US shell from 1944.
