It starts. My mother and father are on their 3 day long trek down to Kentucky for this beautiful boy. Rupert is his name, after the tragedy of Giddeon, a breeder down there offered Ru up to us. Hes 2 years old, 187 pounds and very, very tall. He will be here on Saturday, I'll be sure to take even more photos and get his exact height. He was just neutered and had several lumps taken off his body too, thankfully none were cancerous.

He's apparently a loving boy, his breeder was out walking her pack when she tripped and broke her leg. All of her dogs ran off (as hounds would) accept for Rupert. He stayed by her side. When she tried to stand, she used him as support, and when the pain was too much she fell to the ground. Crying out in pain, Rupert never left. He encouraged her to slowly crawl to her house, by nosing her shoulder. After an hour they both made it back safe.

After all my family has been through I sincerely hope this boy will be the answer to all of our prayers.
