yeah a flan is usually a pastry base with things like peaches in the middle. A quiche is quite similar but usually has an egg based savoury centre, like bacon and onion and tomato. I dont think you get sweet quiches.sweet quiche is fun to say for some reason....also if i put apple in the centre of a flan does it then turn into a tart?....ooh im comfusing myself now
