At first, I found this bee sitting on the ground, which I thought was rather odd. So I grabbed a stick and nudged her a bit with it to see if she'd fly away, but she didn't. After a little bit she suddenly cringed and toppled over, so I picked her up and put her on the table. It was clear she was running out of time...

She died slowly... over about 15-20 minutes after I put her on the table, and it was sad to be watching it happen. I probably should have put her down myself instead of watching her die, but I'm too gutless to do that, even to a bee. (I love bees anyway)

Likely related to colony collapse disorder.

(inb4 a dead bee is a good one)
