The final caste of my wyvern species.

These are the Kreflig, or the Young.

This group consists of all Juveniles, Hatchlings, and Eggbound.

The Eggs are about the size of ostrich eggs, and are a deep blue green with black markings.

All Hatchlings are a teal color with pale yellow eyes, and they are hermaphrodites. They have the potential to become either male or female, depending on their termperments. The more agressive ones tend to become female, and will eat their siblings. The males will all have all male siblings because their more agressive siblings would eat them. Thuis ensures that more males will benefit if one becomes Alpha.

They will not be able to spit fire until they become sexed adults, and will not be able to fly either.
