This pic was supposed to have been made to officially show off JC's first outfit, but you've already seen it in the last pic. ^^ I've got 3 in total and couldn't decide on just one because I loved them all. But thanks to a little chat with GrayThirteenth, I've decided to keep them all and they'll be seasonal/situational.
These particular cloths are scraps of deerskin that have been wrapped around her chest and waist in the same manner you'd wrap a towel around your body. Pretty simple attire for a pretty simple girl. This will be what she wears in the warmer seasons. I have no idea what that bag is made of, but it's stretchy and holds a LOT of stuff to be a small as it is. She uses this to collect herbs and other things, such as those pears. There are other fruit and even some meat that is wrapped tight in leaves in there. ^^;
She is also displaying one of her abilities here too. A variant of her usual healing magic, the pulse wave is very useful for a CPR type situation. As opposed to pumping on the chest to get the heart moving and blood pumping, she uses this pulse wave to do the job on smaller people/animals, those with weak bone structures, and for those too big to perform physical CPR on. Here, she's being a bit lazy and is using the ability to shake loose the choicest pears from the top of the tree. >_<
Thanks to very low memory, I had to separate this into 3 files: Character, Tree, and Background. Even ditched the tablet and went back to GIMP to do the tree's leaves and the background.
I think it's the canvas size that screws me over. 2000x2000px is great for adding detail, but eats memory as well.
It's a shame that the other two outfit pics are the same size. >.<

A totally 'pear'fect reason to do so. ^^
Pomegranates and kiwi are on my roster.
And thanks a lot. =3
I have no idea what brand this thing is, but it was given to me years ago.
As for specs: http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/8642/specsj.png
I showed someone else this and he said I probably wouldn't be able to expand the RAM much and would need a better processor to be able to do so. >.<

$100 is a lot, yet it's a good thing I can install stuff myself. ^^
And upgrading to a newer system is definitely the best thing to do. It'll take forever to save up for one though. This computer has more problems than anything I've seen; from all integrated USB ports being non-operational, noisy fans, to screwy CD/DVD drives. >.<

Kinda off topic, here, I guess ... but I have to commend you for being able to use a machine like that for so long. Always nice to see people getting mileage out of dated hardware.
Good luck saving for a new machine! Even a cheap one could handily outperform your current - keep this in mind, as you might be able to snap up a surprisingly good deal somewhere. If nothing else, here's hoping the RAM thing works out.
I'd feel bad about not commenting on the artwork, though, so as for the picture... I like it! It all goes together quite nicely. Can't really think of much more to say about it, considering I should certainly be in bed by now... but keep up the good work!

It's all about compromising or getting around this thing's little quirks. Or giving it a swift kick when all else fails.
Thank you very much. I found that out first hand yesterday while in a thrift store. The machines going for $30-$44 could eat my machine up and spit it out. Problem was figuring out whether they worked or not with someone rushing me around the whole time. I hope it works out as well.
It's quite alright. And I know about the whole tired thinking thing. I stay up longer than I should all the time and end up with thought processes slower than molasses.
Thank you once again.
