Fat Strawberry Roan
Been sick the past two days, and needed a small break from commissions because of a massive migrain. I popped into 
heavyhoss's stream for a bit last night, and was inspired to perhaps do a more realistic fat horse. I didn't want to spend TOO much time on this so did this in about two hours or so, just for fun. Someday maybe I'll do an even more realistic, detailed, finished piece. But for now I hope you like this obese horsey!!

Haha awww thanks so much! I haven't painted a realistic horse in a looong time, but since I did that scratchboard one on my other account I figured this account needed a realistic FAT horse hahahah. Thanks so much for the compliment! may do another one in the future :D
Awesome! Thanks so much! I should open up again in the spring for regular commissions. I MAY have a couple live stream commission sessions in between depending on how busy I get, and if I need money, which is likely.. haha. Keep your eyes out for my journals as I will announce if I do one.
HAHHA awwww thanks Starfig! The hair really annoyed me hahah. I had a bit of trouble blending it without screwing up the directions of the other hairs. Next time I may do it in layers for blending and then draw the other strands on top so when I blend it won't affect them. This was a good learning process for me. Hopefully my next realistic piece will be even better!

shottsy85 you can see my scratchboard horse. I love doing realism just don't usually have the time. Thanks so much for the compliment! I am a bit rusty and also not too used to painting digitally. I have a lot of experience with watercolors acrylics, and some oil painting experience but its a bit difficult to mimic that with digital medium. I think this was some good practice for me.

hahah I always liked Heavy's work. I just haven't drawn something realistic like this in sooo long, but fantasy realism. It was lots of fun to try and mimic the veins and musculature of a real horse but make it unrealistically fat hahah. I have another one I may paint sometime in the future that I sketched out this morning.
