It's a little too short in my opinion. Parts of it feel very underdeveloped...most likely due to scenes being cut. The book is heaps better - although it involves forest critters dying and Thumper's mate bleeding to death while young Bambi flees in terror - it's a much more convincing and thought-provoking story.
But yeah, no one can resist Flower. XD
