"Lord, I'm walking Your way. Let me in for my feet are sore and my clothes are ragged. Look in my eyes, Lord, and my sins will play out on them as on the screen. Read them all. Forgive what you can and send me on my path. I will walk on till you bid me rest." ~ Shepherd Book, Serenity (2005)
BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!
Zig looks so wonderful here. It's rare we get to see her dressed.
But I'm especially captivated by Whitney. I just....love her outfit. She's SO beautiful!
Poor Misty. I don't think she has any tears left to cry. :(

rdewalt and I help pay tribute to Jules. <:) I'm really touched you put us in there! This has been a very emotional story line; I really hope Misty is going to be all right.

Damn.. and I was just at an actual funeral a couple weeks ago. Half the time you talk about how cool the person was and what a groove it was to be around them... and the other half of the time you wish with all your heart that the person you're talking about was still around.
This is a seriously well done part of the story, I recognize most everyone there except the reverend reading the eulogy. Cherish the folks that mean something in your life, not all the wishing in the world will bring them back.

Aww, I'm sorry to hear that, man. :( I guess we all go through that sort of thing sooner or later... I had relatives pass away, but I never got to go to their funerals.
Anyway, the reverend is supposed to be loosely based off of John Lennon (Drake's idea again). Notice the white outfit? Kinda reminiscent of an album cover, huh? :)
I was thinking of using Maynard James Keenan as the reverend, but I thought that may have been a bit too obscure for this. Not like it matters as we're lookin at him from behind.

I've been reading this comic for the past couple years and I never expected Jules to die. Lyle, sure, the way how he's so irresponsible with everything, but not Jules. Still, it's nice to see comics take a realistic approach to more sensitive subjects such as death realizing it's just part of the cycle of life. i hope misty finds someone new soon enough.
May he rest in peace.....with this sad, but famous music Traumerei" by Robert Schumann.....http://www.youtube.com.....?v=ZbfdNTBqnVM
