ebonyleopard came through for me twice at MFF 2011, this time with a picture from Metamor Keep, a shared story setting in which many writers more talented than I write. On the left is my samoyed character, Edward "Drift" Snow, and on the right is his friend Misha the fox, courtesy of 
CaptFox (Surprise, Misha!)Apparently, in the Metamor Keep setting, checkers is played using both colors of the board... I wonder how the rules differ.

This is a really great work! I love the characters, and especially the injuries that Misha has sustained. Seeing them like this makes is easier to remember them!
and yes, there are days I wish I could just sit down with a friend and play some checkers while we eat. And don't think I didn't notice the muffin there.
