I love this evolution line, was like the R/S version of Rhyhorn and his evolutions (though I think they could have done better with Rhypierior and the other pokemon they gave a 3rd form)

Yup, him, Magmar, Electobuzz, Tengella, and a few others wound up getting evolved forms. A lot of them are kinda meh imo

I've always been neutral on Magmar though I love his pre-evolved form, the others were always meh. Rhyhorn was the only one I really liked out that group and I think that all the evolved forms they gave them look like crap.
