As always, this year's Christmas card is all set for the holiday season! This time around, we got a subject focus on one of the most "FAIL" holiday films of all time: Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny.
What is it? I dare you to go on YouTube to search the term and watch the clips. Better yet, RiffTrax.com has a full VOD of the film with commentary to soften the blow caused by the crap factor of this movie. :P
Basically, it involves Santa Clause who's sleigh got stuck in the Florida sand without his reindeer, and a bunch of kids try to help pull his sleigh out. Several animals were brought to try and pull it out, even a gorilla. Then the film goes into a 45-minute A.D.D. moment when Santa tells the story about Thumbelina as a moral hook into the plot. In the end, the Ice Cream Bunny comes along to help Santa, who is featured as the worst bunny suit you have ever seen in your life! Again, I dare you to look up clips on YouTube to see what I mean. XD
And what better to have make this card than to have guest stars in it!
LearlessFeader as the Ice Cream Bunny, of course! And trust me, he looks a lot better in this outfit than what was featured in the movie.
YoshiMan1118 as the gorilla, who was the first to try and pull the sleigh. Who else would I want to slap into this role than YoshiMan, right? Makes me happy. :3
Myself as Santa. Poor Santa... he must be getting very hot in that red suit, along with the white beard and the white fur... over the fur he already has, apparently. He won't last out here.
Last, but not least, the NOSTALGIA CROC as one of the elves from the beginning of the film! Now to be honest, I would love to see the Nostalgia Critic review this piece of holiday garbage. If he thought the Star Wars Holiday Special was bad, this one would at least tie in for the battle for the crap crown.
So there you have it! Another Christmas card completed for this year! So you all have a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and have a Happy New Year! :)
